Recently, at the Turin leg of Italian Tech Week, Amazon's founder, Jeff Bezos, delivered a speech in which he made a bold prediction: within the next 10 to 20 years, humanity could establish gigawatt-scale data centers in space. He highlighted that the uninterrupted availability of solar energy in the cosmic realm will empower these space-based data centers to outperform their terrestrial equivalents.
