As per a report from the China Securities Journal, Oracle's remaining performance obligations (RPO) pertaining to its cloud infrastructure business in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2026 soared to $455 billion, marking a staggering 359% year-on-year increase. Almost 60% of this significant RPO growth can be attributed to a massive five-year, $300 billion order for inference computing power that Oracle inked with OpenAI.
