On September 8 (local time), Nebius, a company specializing in artificial intelligence infrastructure, disclosed that it had entered into a commercial pact with Microsoft. As per the terms of this agreement, Nebius is set to furnish Microsoft with exclusive GPU infrastructure capacity at its data center located in Vineland, New Jersey, spanning the next five years. The deployment of GPU services is scheduled to occur in multiple phases during 2025 and 2026. Depending on the specifics of deployment and the availability of GPU services, the cumulative contract value is projected to hit $17.4 billion by 2031. Moreover, Microsoft retains the option to procure extra services or capacity under the contract, which could potentially elevate the total contract value to around $19.4 billion.
