During the regular economic data press conference held by the State Council Information Office on April 18, it was announced that China has emerged as a global frontrunner in the systematic development of the industrial internet, with its key platforms now connected to over 100 million industrial devices. Xie Cun, Director of the Information and Communication Development Department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, highlighted that future efforts will focus on accelerating policies aimed at fostering high-quality development within the industrial internet sector. This includes the creation of an advanced "5G + Industrial Internet" framework, as well as a concerted push towards advancing research on core technologies, upgrading infrastructure, and expediting the technological innovation and industrialization of industrial 5G chips, modules, and smart devices.
