NVIDIA, in collaboration with supply chain partners such as Ibiden, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, and Unimicron, plans to increase the production capacity of substrates for related products to 2.5 times the current level over the next three years. After the expansion of Ibiden's Ono plant in Japan, its production capacity will reach three times the original level, with the new capacity expected to ramp up in the first quarter of 2028. The expansion of Unimicron's KF substrate production in Taiwan is expected to start contributing capacity in the second quarter of 2027 and reach full production by mid-2028.
