Amidst a globally challenging semiconductor market, SMIC has sustained its growth trajectory by capitalizing on robust domestic demand and scaling up its production capacity. The total output value of the top ten global foundries witnessed an 11.5% quarter-on-quarter increase, setting a new record at $53.49 billion. SMIC has further cemented its standing in the global foundry sector, securing the third position with a marginal uptick in market share to 5.4%. The company anticipates its revenue for the third quarter to rise by 2% to 4% on a quarter-on-quarter basis, along with a gross margin projection of 26%-28%.
