Micron Technology announced on Friday that it will distribute record-high bonuses to over 60,000 employees worldwide. Among them, employees in Taiwan, China, will receive rewards equivalent to 35 to 68 months' salary. Micron stated that employees in Taiwan, China, who joined the company before August 29 last year, will each receive a bonus of NT$1 million, while other employees will receive pro-rata bonuses based on their tenure. Some employees may receive annual performance bonuses of up to 500% of their base targets, along with additional stock awards. Cash compensation for employees in Taiwan, China, will start at NT$1.7 million, with the average cash compensation for entry-level engineers being NT$2.9 million. After including stock awards, the average total compensation reaches NT$3.4 million. Additionally, Micron's annual performance-based salary adjustments and stock awards will achieve 100% coverage, ensuring that every employee can become a shareholder of the company.
