NVIDIA recently released the NVIDIA App version 11.0.9 update, introducing the new DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction feature and Resizable BAR independent control options, while also integrating a CPU monitoring module into the in-game stats overlay for the first time. GeForce graphics card users can now directly view processor temperature, power consumption, and operating frequency during gameplay without relying on third-party tools like HWiNFO or MSI Afterburner. This update also expands the DLSS technology's game coverage, adding support for eight new titles including and , while improving compatibility with borderless window mode. Technically, the DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction feature utilizes a second-generation Transformer model, with manual mode adjustments available via the path 'Graphics > Program Settings > Driver Settings > DLSS Override > Model Preset.' NVIDIA officially recommends the 'Default' preset to balance image quality and performance. The Resizable BAR control feature supports independent toggling for individual games, accessible via 'Graphics > Program Settings > Driver Settings > Resizable BAR,' though full hardware compatibility is required for it to take effect. Additionally, the update fixes known issues such as abnormal filter behavior in and color deviations in photo mode super-resolution, while adding a toggle switch for the Windows desktop right-click menu entry and a green dot indicator for feature updates.
