On September 7, Huawei officially launched the Kirin 9050 Pro chip at its launch event, featuring it first in the Mate XT2 triple-fold smartphone. The chip adopts the Lingxi CPU architecture, supports hyper-threading technology, delivering a 24% improvement in single-core performance and a 52% boost in multi-core concurrent performance. The Kirin 9050 Pro is the first high-performance chip to utilize logical folding technology, enhancing both performance and energy efficiency through layered arrangement of logical units, resulting in a 42% overall performance improvement over the previous generation.
