On August 18, Hon Hai released a statement on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, revealing that its subsidiary, Foxconn Singapore Pte Ltd, had acquired a stake in its Vietnamese counterpart, FuKang Technology, with a substantial investment of US$358.4 million, aimed at fostering long-term growth. Concurrently, Cloud Network Technology Singapore, another subsidiary under the Hon Hai umbrella, purchased shares in its Mexican entity, FII AMC MEXICO S. DE R.L. DE C.V., for an approximate sum of US$27 million. Notably, Mexico serves as a pivotal production hub for Hon Hai's AI servers, underscoring the strategic significance of this move.
