Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council, has signed a State Council decree to formally enact the revised Regulations on the Protection of Layout-Designs of Integrated Circuits. These regulations are set to come into force on October 15, 2026. Comprising six chapters and fifty-four articles, the regulations are designed to safeguard exclusive rights, foster innovation, and drive advancements in science and technology.
