Intel confirmed in its latest earnings report and performance briefing that its highly anticipated 14A chip manufacturing process is progressing ahead of expectations. CEO Lip-Bu Tan stated that based on positive feedback from internal product testing and discussions with external clients, Intel has adjusted its timeline and decided to expedite the production process: the 14A node will initiate risk production for internal products in the second half of 2027, with plans for full-scale mass production in 2028.
