On July 17, the A-share market indices weakened, with the Growth Enterprise Index dropping by over 7%, the Shanghai Composite Index falling by 2.69%, and the Shenzhen Component Index declining by 5.30%. Sectors such as computing hardware, semiconductor chips, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, precious metals, gaming, and media led the declines, with nearly 5,000 individual stocks falling across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets, including nearly 660 stocks that dropped by over 9%.
