On July 10, the A-share market concluded the trading session with all three major indices witnessing a downturn. The Shanghai Composite Index retreated by 1%, while the Shenzhen Component Index experienced a more pronounced drop of 2.29%. Notably, the ChiNext Index took a significant hit, tumbling 4.37%. The semiconductor and CPO (Coherent Packaged Optics) sectors were at the forefront of the declines, with companies like Cambricon and Zhongji Innolight seeing their share prices plummet by over 8%. Similarly, Gigadevice, CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited), and Dongshan Precision all suffered losses exceeding 7%. In contrast, the CRO (Contract Research Organization) and satellite navigation sectors bucked the trend, posting gains. Several stocks within these sectors, including China Satellite, China Satcom, Changshan Pharmaceutical, and ZS Pharmaceutical, soared to their daily limit.
