On July 1, 2026, Innoscience accused Infineon of displaying gallium nitride products at the Shanghai Munich Electronics Show—products that had been barred from sale by a Chinese court due to patent infringement. These products were reportedly identified during the exhibition and subsequently taken down. In response, Infineon released a statement claiming that Innoscience's version of events did not fully capture the true circumstances. The company clarified that the products in question are still under judicial review, and Infineon is pursuing its legal rights in accordance with the law. Infineon also urged all parties to respect the judicial process and refrain from making one-sided interpretations or attempting to sway public opinion.

It is reported that the dispute stems from a patent infringement lawsuit filed by Innoscience against Infineon in late 2024. The Suzhou Intermediate People's Court ordered Infineon to halt the infringement and pay 10 million yuan in damages, with a complete ban on the sale of related products in China taking effect from May 27. Prior to this, the two companies had been embroiled in multiple legal battles over core gallium nitride invention patents, with varying outcomes. In May of this year, the Suzhou Intermediate People's Court ruled in favor of Innoscience, whereas in June, the Munich Regional Court in Germany sided with Infineon.
