Apple is making significant adjustments to its strategy for self-developed Mac chips, planning to introduce a new chip product line focused on artificial intelligence for its next-generation high-end processors. The current chips have evolved to the M5 series, with the base version of the M6 processor set to debut as early as this year for entry-level Mac devices, and for the first time, no high-end derivative versions will be released. Apple also plans to launch a new generation of Pro and Max chips with enhanced computing and graphics performance in 2027, which will be categorized under the M7 series.
