Apple revealed this evening that it will be increasing the prices of several product lines, including Mac and iPad. The company attributed this move to the swift proliferation of artificial intelligence data centers, which has fueled a dramatic uptick in memory demand and, consequently, a notable surge in component costs. Specifically, the base price of the MacBook Neo has been adjusted from 4,599 yuan to 5,499 yuan, the MacBook Air from 8,499 yuan to 9,999 yuan, and the MacBook Pro from 13,499 yuan to 15,999 yuan. Similarly, the iPad Pro will now start at 10,799 yuan, up from 8,999 yuan, while the iPad Air's base price has risen from 4,799 yuan to 5,999 yuan.
