According to sources from the supply chain, the monthly wafer input volume at TSMC's primary 28-nanometer production base, Fab 15A, has decreased from 200,000 wafers at the beginning of this year to 150,000 wafers, representing a reduction of over 25%. TSMC plans to allocate more of its 28-nanometer production capacity to support intermediate layers and gradually phase out low-margin orders.
