As part of a business transformation to support long-term growth, Samsung Electronics plans to relocate its US headquarters from Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, to Plano, Texas. Over the past few years, Samsung has invested tens of billions of dollars in Texas and established a wafer fabrication plant in Taylor. Plano has long been an important operational hub for Samsung in the US, undertaking various business functions over the past decade. This relocation will help concentrate resources and drive business development. Samsung expects the relocation to be completed by the end of this year.
