In the first quarter of 2026, AMD and ARM continued to gain ground in the server chip market, while Intel continued to lose share. Total server CPU shipments in the quarter rose approximately 6% quarter-on-quarter and about 19% year-on-year. Specifically, Arm's market share increased from 11.5% to 17.7%, AMD's from 24.1% to 27.4%, while Intel's declined from 64.4% to 54.9%. UBS predicts that by 2030, the server CPU market size will surge from approximately $30 billion in 2025 to around $170 billion. By then, ARM's unit market share is expected to jump from 15% in 2025 to 40-45%.
