On May 5, Lattice Semiconductor announced that it has reached a definitive agreement with THL Partners to acquire AMI, a leader in firmware and infrastructure management for cloud and AI platforms. This acquisition aims to create the industry's most comprehensive security management and control platform, driving Lattice's strategic expansion in server, AI, and cloud applications, covering multiple aspects such as hardware, security, manageability, and control. Lattice expects that this acquisition will enhance its gross margin, free cash flow, and non-GAAP earnings per share, helping it achieve its goal of exceeding $1 billion in annual revenue by the fourth quarter of 2026.
