On April 8, Binhai Energy announced on an interactive platform that it is in the process of establishing a phased production facility with a capacity of 2,000 tons of silicon-carbon anodes, specifically tailored for solid-state batteries, in the city of Baotou. Concurrently, the company is also setting up a phased 1,000-ton porous carbon production capacity in Xingtai City. Presently, both projects are in the construction phase and have not yet entered the stage of mass production and supply. The research and development of various silicon-based anode products are undergoing verification at different stages.
