On April 7th, the 'Joint Innovation Lab,' a collaborative venture between Unisoc and Geely Auto, made its debut at the Geely Automobile Research Institute in Ningbo. The two entities declared their intention to engage in profound cooperation across four key areas: tailoring intelligent cockpits and edge-side AI chips, advancing vehicle-cloud integrated product applications, co-developing integrated cockpit-driving systems and ecosystems, and fortifying the automotive chip industry supply chain. Regarding the enhancement of the automotive chip industry supply chain, both parties will establish a product verification platform to facilitate the widespread adoption of Unisoc's chip solutions. Additionally, they will undertake joint research on various segments of the upstream and downstream industrial chains, including EDA (Electronic Design Automation), IP (Intellectual Property), wafer fabrication, and packaging and testing processes.
