Samsung Electronics' Co-CEO Jun Young-hyun stated on Wednesday that driven by the artificial intelligence boom, chip demand will remain robust this year, although rising memory chip prices may affect shipments of computers and mobile devices. The company is working with major customers to transition from traditional annual or quarterly supply agreements to multi-year contracts spanning three to five years, in order to mitigate the impact of cyclical demand fluctuations.
