Between February 15 and 19, Professor Gui Xiaoyan of the School of Microelectronics journeyed to San Francisco, USA, to participate in the 2026 International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC), a premier event often dubbed the 'Chip Olympics'. During the conference, Professor Gui presented an academic report entitled "A 112-Gb/s PAM4 SBD Transceiver Featuring a Mismatch-Compensated 2xVDD Hybrid and Two-Step Echo Canceller in 28nm CMOS". This presentation highlighted the university's cutting-edge advancements in the realm of ultra-high-speed wired transceiver interface chips, drawing the attention of global experts in integrated circuit design.
