Ceva has introduced its new-generation Ceva-Waves UWB IP, which is the first to comply with the IEEE 802.15.4ab standard. It extends detection range by 30 times and increases data transmission rates by 4 times, making it suitable for secure access, positioning, radar, and advanced data applications without increasing power consumption or chip footprint. Ceva has collaborated with LitePoint to ensure interoperability and accelerate time-to-market for devices. The IP is now available for licensing and is integrated with Ceva's wireless connectivity portfolio and edge AI processors, supporting multi-protocol SoCs to drive the development of intelligent edge devices.
