The power semiconductor sector is currently undergoing a fresh surge in price increases. XieJieNeng, a domestic company, has declared that, commencing on March 1, 2026, it will implement a price hike of no less than 10% for its MOSFET products. Prior to this, prominent domestic and international firms, including Infineon and Silan Microelectronics, have already incrementally adjusted their prices. These increases typically range from 10% to 20%, with certain products experiencing even steeper rises. This latest round of price escalations is mainly propelled by the cumulative impact of mounting cost pressures and a dramatic upswing in AI-induced structural demand. The global prices of upstream raw materials and essential precious metals have risen sharply, resulting in persistent increases in the costs associated with wafer foundry services and packaging/testing processes. Concurrently, the explosive expansion in demand for AI computing power has significantly boosted the need for power semiconductors.
