Focal-plane segmented arrays have garnered substantial interest in the realm of polarization imaging, thanks to their remarkable attributes of high integration, robust durability, and exceptional dynamic adaptability. The linchpin of their production rests in the fabrication of arrayed anisotropic subwavelength gratings. Lately, the team helmed by Associate Professor Li Xinghui from the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School has achieved a significant advancement in the lithography manufacturing of focal-plane segmented super-pixel arrays. This accomplishment paves the way for a novel approach in crafting pivotal components for mid-infrared polarization imaging systems.
