NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, is set to visit Taiwan this month to participate in NVIDIA's Taiwan regional annual conference. During the event, he will unveil the plans for constructing and signing the lease for NVIDIA's Taiwan regional headquarters, which will be located in the Beitou Shilin Science Park. Additionally, Huang will host a 'Trillion New Taiwan Dollar Banquet' for partners within the 'NVIDIA ecosystem,' an event that will be attended by prominent corporate leaders, including TSMC Chairman C.C. Wei.

Last November, during Huang's visit to TSMC, he voiced a pressing need for more advanced AI chips, sparking a fresh surge of factory expansions at TSMC. In response, TSMC urged its upstream equipment suppliers to expedite delivery times, effectively placing the supply chain in a 'state of emergency' to meet the heightened demand. It is anticipated that related equipment manufacturers will maintain high-intensity shipments until the second quarter of 2026. Furthermore, there have been reports indicating Huang's proactive efforts in securing AI chip orders, organizing dinners for key supply chain figures, and hinting at his potential attendance at the 2025 Taipei Computer Expo.
