Intel has officially announced that it will unveil its 3rd generation Core Ultra "Panther Lake" processor at CES 2026. This cutting-edge processor will make its debut featuring the advanced 18A manufacturing process, which integrates RibbonFET transistors and PowerVia backside power delivery technology. This integration enables the processor to achieve lower power consumption while boosting its frequency. As the inaugural consumer-grade product built on the 18A process, the Panther Lake is strategically positioned to cater to a wide range of applications, including AI-powered PCs, commercial devices, gaming laptops, and edge computing scenarios. Sales of this processor are anticipated to commence in January 2026.
