The ongoing memory shortage is taking a toll on the GPU market. As inventories dwindle, GPU prices keep climbing. NVIDIA has announced its intention to curb the production of RTX 50 series graphics cards in 2026, with an anticipated 30% to 40% drop in supply during the first half of the year. Following Japan's lead, German distributors have also either halted sales or set purchase restrictions on RTX 50 series graphics cards amid the scarcity, with certain models even running entirely out of stock.
