On December 26, the National Venture Capital Guidance Fund was formally inaugurated. During a dedicated press conference organized by the National Development and Reform Commission, Bai Jingyu, the Director-General of the Department of Innovation and High-Tech Development, outlined the fund's dual focus for continued efforts.

Firstly, the fund aims to consolidate social capital by introducing innovative financial models tailored for future-oriented industries. In collaboration with fund management institutions, the guidance fund will primarily target regions with robust innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems. It will ramp up investments in early-stage projects and enterprises operating in cutting-edge fields such as integrated circuits, artificial intelligence (AI), aerospace, low-altitude economy, biological manufacturing, and future energy. This strategic move is designed to incentivize both financial institutions and private capital to co-invest in these promising sectors.

Secondly, the fund is committed to assembling innovative resources to deliver top-notch services to innovative enterprises. Beyond providing financial backing, the guidance fund will establish a comprehensive venture capital service system characterized by its high quality, extensive reach, and all-encompassing nature.
