On December 23, a report surfaced indicating that NVIDIA has joined forces with South Korea's SK Hynix and Taiwan's Phison Electronics to co-develop a novel artificial intelligence (AI)-focused solid-state drive. Tailored specifically for AI applications, this solid-state drive is projected to deliver performance that is tenfold greater than that of the solid-state drives currently deployed in AI servers. Phison Electronics emphasized that the incorporation of storage-type flash memory into AI servers represents a definitive trend in the industry.
