Three well-informed sources have revealed that NVIDIA has informed its Chinese clientele of its intention to supply its second-tier AI chip, the H200, to the Chinese market prior to the Lunar New Year, which falls in mid-February. Out of these sources, two mentioned that NVIDIA plans to tap into its current stockpile to meet the initial demand, anticipating a total dispatch of 5,000 to 10,000 chip modules. This quantity translates to roughly 40,000 to 80,000 individual H200 chips.
