On November 20, at the 2025 Integrated Circuit Development Forum (Chengdu-Chongqing) and the 31st Integrated Circuit Design Industry Exhibition (ICCAD-Expo 2025) held today, Wei Shaojun from the Integrated Circuit Design Branch of the China Semiconductor Industry Association stated that the sales of the chip design industry are expected to reach 835.73 billion yuan in 2025, representing a 29.4% increase from 2024. Converted at an average exchange rate of 1:7.08 between the US dollar and the yuan, the annual sales will amount to approximately 118.04 billion US dollars, surpassing the 100 billion mark for the first time. The industry's share in the global integrated circuit product market will also see an increase compared to the previous year.
