Recently, there's been a surge in debates surrounding the potential "AI bubble." However, the market still holds a positive outlook on the medium- to long-term growth prospects of AI applications. Taiwanese firms, including IC design giant MediaTek (2454), along with ASIC design service providers Alchip (3661) and GUC (3443), are forging ahead with collaborations with international clients to seize business opportunities in the cloud AI chip sector. As the world's fourth-largest fabless semiconductor company, MediaTek is set to introduce AI processors tailored for the PC market. It's partnering with NVIDIA, capitalizing on NVIDIA's prowess in GPUs and AI computing capabilities. Alchip Technology (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. and Jinan Alchip Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. specialize in integrated circuit design and SoC mass production services, encompassing fields like AI and HPC chips. They provide a comprehensive suite of services, including ASIC design, Turnkey solutions, and IP-Plus offerings, and have forged partnerships with numerous globally acclaimed enterprises. Global Unichip Corp. (GUC) is also deeply involved in the research and development, manufacturing, testing, and sales of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and chips, with a significant footprint in the AI domain as well.
