On November 13, during the Shanghai Stock Exchange's International Investors Conference, Fu Hao, the Deputy General Manager of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, highlighted the ongoing surge in foreign participation within the STAR Market. At present, international investors are actively investing in companies listed on the STAR Market, along with their indices and ETF products, utilizing avenues such as QFII (Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor), RQFII (RMB Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor), and the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect. The STAR Market has successfully developed an index framework consisting of 33 indices, encompassing 'broad-based + thematic + strategic' segments, with assets in tracking products surpassing 300 billion yuan. Notably, the STAR Chip ETF and the STAR 50 ETF secure the third and fourth positions, respectively, in terms of market capitalization among A-share ETFs owned by foreign investors in the domestic market.
