At TSMC's annual sports event held in Hsinchu, Taiwan, Jensen Huang, the Chief Executive Officer of NVIDIA, revealed to reporters that he has formally asked TSMC to enhance its chip supply. This move comes in response to the persistent and robust demand for artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Huang emphasized that the AI business is not only thriving but also experiencing steady monthly growth. Additionally, he disclosed on Saturday that NVIDIA's trio of AI memory chip suppliers—SK Hynix, Samsung Electronics, and Micron Technology—have all substantially increased their production capabilities to adequately support NVIDIA's expanding needs.
