As indicated by the Aiqicha App, SK Hynix Semiconductor (China) Co., Ltd. has recently faced a fresh administrative penalty, specifically a fine amounting to 264,000 yuan. On August 1, 2025, acting on a report submitted through letters and visits, the Wuxi Xinwu Ecological Environment Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau carried out an enforcement inspection at the company's premises. During this inspection, it was discovered that while the wastewater treatment station at its second factory was in operation, there were issues with the water spray treatment facilities. Out of the four such facilities, the fans were functioning, yet the water circulation pumps of two facilities were not running. Moreover, no liquid droplets could be seen through the sight glasses of the spray towers. This situation amounted to an illegal act of pollutant discharge, attributed to the abnormal functioning of the pollution control facilities.
