TCL Finalizes Acquisition of Key Assets of South Korea’s LGD in China

TCL Technology released a statement announcing that its majority-controlled subsidiary, TCL CSOT Technology Co., Ltd., has successfully finalized the acquisition. This deal encompasses an 80% equity interest in LG Display (China) Co., Ltd. and a full 100% stake in LG Display (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. These stakes were previously owned by LG Display Co., Ltd. and its associated entities. The total transaction value has been settled at RMB 11.088 billion. With the industrial and commercial registration modifications now completed for the acquired entities, they will be consolidated into TCL Technology's financial statements, beginning with the second quarter of 2025.
