On October 7, according to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification from the Texas Workforce Commission, global analog IC leader and automotive chip giant Texas Instruments announced that its Dallas factory located at 13536 North Central Expressway will lay off 163 employees. Additionally, Texas Instruments' factories in Brownsville and Austin will also lay off 190 employees, bringing the total number of layoffs to approximately 400.
