Consequently, the valuation of the U.S. government's 10% ownership stake in Intel has surged to roughly $16 billion. This August, under the Trump administration, a deal was struck to acquire 433.3 million common shares of Intel at a price of $20.47 apiece, marking a total investment of $8.9 billion.
