Under the leadership of Professor Pan Feng from the School of Advanced Materials at Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, the research team carried out in-depth and systematic investigations into enhancing the multi-scale interfacial performance of solid-state batteries. They put forward a theoretical framework and mechanism aimed at achieving carrier-selective transport through strategic interfacial structural design. The pertinent research findings were published in Adv. Mater. 2024, 36, 2407923. Furthermore, the team gained profound insights into the filler-polymer interfacial interaction mechanism and proposed a classification strategy that distinguishes between 'bulk-active fillers' and 'surface-active fillers.' This related research was published in Small 2023, 19, 2305326. In parallel, the team also developed coating technologies with high-voltage stability, such as Li3AlF6, which effectively mitigate chemical side reactions and structural degradation at the LiCoO2/PEO interface.
