On September 26, CIG Tech made an announcement via an interactive platform, revealing that its 800G optical module products have commenced large-scale shipments. In addition, a variety of 1.6T optical modules, which are built on silicon photonics technology (encompassing models such as DR8, 2×FR4, and LPO/LRO), have been dispatched to customers for expedited certification processes. Upon successful completion of the certification, these modules are poised to enter the mass production phase.
