On September 12, Sunway Technology made an announcement revealing that its affiliate, Sunway Asia-Pacific Semiconductor Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sunway Semiconductor"), had entered into a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Hunan San'an Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "San'an Semiconductor"). This move marked the formal establishment of a far-reaching strategic partnership between the two entities. Xiang Jie, the Chairman of Sunway Technology Group, emphasized that this joint effort is set to propel the advancement and market adoption of a new generation of silicon carbide (SiC) modules. These modules are poised to offer more efficient and dependable solutions for a range of sectors, including new energy vehicles, photovoltaic energy storage systems, and industrial motors.
