On September 9, 2025, Oriental Semi stated on an interactive platform that the company had long ago laid out its SiC business, initiating R&D with high-performance power applications as the entry point. Currently, SiC MOSFET, Si2C MOSFET, and SiC SBD have achieved large-scale mass production, with performance indicators surpassing those of competing products of the same type. The R&D for the fourth-generation SiC MOSFET product technology platform has been completed, and SiC products have been sampled to multiple leading customers and have received design adoption.
