Amid a unique context, the domestic semiconductor industry has seized rapid growth opportunities in recent years, progressively overcoming the challenge of being reliant on foreign technology. A report issued by Morgan Stanley anticipates that by 2027, the self-sufficiency rate for select domestic semiconductor products could soar to an impressive 91%. Recalling 2018, the domestic chip self-sufficiency rate stood at a mere 10%, with the market heavily dominated by corporations from Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea. However, subsequent shifts in the global trade landscape have spurred accelerated development within the domestic semiconductor sector, resulting in a remarkable uptick in self-sufficiency.
