During the first six months of 2025, China's consumer market flourished with the emergence of new consumption trends. Notably, "IP+Consumption" and "AI+Consumption" emerged as the front-runners, capturing significant market attention. Digital consumption showcased robust vitality, as evidenced by a 6.0% year-on-year increase in online retail sales of physical goods, accounting for 24.9% of total retail sales of consumer goods. Green consumption maintained its upward trajectory, with retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles surging by 33.3% and achieving a penetration rate of 50.2%. Furthermore, products derived from well-known intellectual properties (IPs) gained popularity among young consumers, becoming trendy choices.
