Tencent has achieved a significant milestone with the acquisition of a medical device registration certificate from the Guangdong Provincial Drug Administration for its proprietary cognitive function training software, dubbed "Tencent Brain Training." This accomplishment marks "Tencent Brain Training" as the company's inaugural digital therapy software and the sixth medical device registration certificate under Tencent's belt. Employing a gamified approach to cognitive training, the software adheres to the principles of evidence-based medicine, with the objective of enhancing the cognitive abilities of patients experiencing mild cognitive impairment. Now, the software is poised to enter clinical application.
