Zhao Weichen, the former head of Xiaohongshu's commercialization division for the internet industry, has announced his departure from the company. Joining Xiaohongshu in April 2022, Zhao was instrumental in spearheading advertising collaborations across e-commerce, internet services, and gaming sectors. Prior to his role at Xiaohongshu, Zhao Weichen held the position of Secretary of the Board of Directors at Yika Technology, where he played a pivotal role in the company's successful listing and subsequent business expansion.
During his tenure at Xiaohongshu, Zhao Weichen orchestrated the restructuring of the advertising business, broadened partnerships within the gaming industry, and pioneered innovative projects such as digital RMB marketing initiatives. Looking ahead, Zhao has revealed his ambition to embark on an entrepreneurial journey in the realm of AI and robotics.
